Call for Your Participation in ARB Committees 2026 - 2028
The Architects Registration Board, HKSAR (ARB), is a statutory body formed under the Architects Registration Ordinance (Cap. 408) and is empowered to provide for the registration of architects and disciplinary control of the professional activities of registered architects, and for related matters. It operates with the following four Committees enacted under Sections 9(b) and 17 of the Ordinance:
On behalf of ARB, I write to invite your indication of interest to participate in our two Committees (LAC and RC) for the term commencing from the date of appointment until 16 May 2028.
Please find the relevant terms of reference of LAC and RC by clicking ToR (LAC) and ToR (RC) respectively for your information. By serving on the Committee(s), you will be able to gain experience in ARB’s operation and contribute to the advancement of its work and services.
The key requirements on Committee members are:
(1) Willingness to contribute and provide discerning inputs; and
(2) Commitment to share the workload of the Committee(s).
Frequency of Committee meetings will be determined by the respective Committee Chairpersons.
If you are interested in joining the Committee(s), please submit the following documents and return to the ARB Secretariat via email to arbsec@arb.org.hk by 3 June 2026:
(1) the attached Reply Slip stating your preference(s);
(2) an updated CV in 1-page A4 size
The selection and appointment of members to the Committees will be at the discretion of ARB. Notification of appointment will be made in June 2026.
