Appointment of Registrar, Architects Registration Board, HKSAR
The Architects Registration Board (“ARB”) hereby announces the appointment of Mr. Watson Chan as the Registrar commencing 11 May 2022 under Section 11 of the Architects Registration Ordinance (Cap. 408), until further notice.
Watson CHAN, whose appointment was approved by the Board on 10 May 2022, is the Chief Operating Officer and Registrar of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (“HKIA”) since 4 May 2022. With the statutory appointment of ARB Registrar, Watson will be responsible for the daily operation of the Joint Secretariat of HKIA and ARB.
The Board is grateful for Mr Ken Tsang, Senior Manager, HKIA, for his alacrity to take up the role of acting Registrar since 11 January 2022. Upon completion of the acting appointment ending 10 May 2022, Ken will continue to effectively support the Joint Secretariat.
