Appointment of Registrar, Architects Registration Board, HKSAR

The Architects Registration Board (“ARB”) hereby announces the appointment of Ms. Queenie Wong as the Registrar commencing 1 November 2019 under Section 11 of the Architects Registration Ordinance (Cap. 408), until further notice.

Queenie Wong, whose appointment was approved by the Board on 29 October 2019, is the Chief Operating Officer and Registrar of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (“HKIA”) since February 2019. With the statutory appointment of ARB Registrar, Queenie will be responsible for the daily operation of the Joint Secretariat of HKIA and ARB.

The Board is grateful for Ms. Vivian Sie, Senior Manager, for her alacrity to act the key role of Interim Registrar with continuity after the retirement of the former Registrar. Upon completion of the acting appointment ending 31 October 2019, Vivian will continue to effectively support the Board and the Joint Secretariat.
